Denali “Drag Queens” Rest at Camp, Update on Team Name

Hey everyone, this is Steven with the Drag Queens, and just a quick clarification on the name. It’s more of a nod to drag queens and a pun on the fact that we drag so much stuff up and down this mountain in floods and not to try to call anybody out.
What did we up to today? The Mountain did not let us carry. We woke up and had breakfast, warmed our feet a little bit and then gradually watched all the teams that walk up the hill, walk back down the hill. So I figured it was a better use of energy to hang out and rest and keep putting our bodies a climatized. So everybody had a good day of catching up on sleep, or their reading, or their Netflix or brushing up on their cribbage. Then we wrapped up the day with some smoked salmon pasta. Tomorrow looks similarly windy but maybe a little bit sunnier. We’re all ready to forward carry and hopefully will have the opportunity to do it tomorrow.
