As a pioneer in introducing sustainable fashion brands since 2012 in Berlin, Amsterdam, Cologne, Brussels, Florence and Athens, Dimitra Zavakou is creating fashion experiences through exhibitions, pop-ups, events and sales.
We met her at the last PITTI BIMBO in Florence and talk about her mission since 2016 as the curator of THE NEST, the place where emerging fashion brands present their collection at the fair.
We talked about how to be ready for the first fair, how to communicate when you are a new brand, we debate on the concept of sustainability and the importance of protecting creative brands from fast fashion! We had time also to know more about her own projects of Fashion Consultant.
