After his return from the summer program, Evelyn promotes Sandy to be the spokesperson and recruiter of the program and it causes tension in the family to reach an all-time high. Meanwhile, Phillip is being followed by an FBI agent after Alvin returns from the war wounded mentally & physically. Finally, Evelyn and Rabbi Lionel visit the White House and have some peculiar interactions with Lindbergh's counterparts.
