The Miami Dolphins lost tight end Hayden Rucci to the Detroit Lions via waivers, despite his potential as a blocker. Offensive lineman Kion Smith, also waived last Saturday, cleared waivers and is now free to sign with any team. Three Dolphins players - Jordyn Brooks, Alec Ingold, and DeVon Achane - are in the top ten at their positions in the first Pro Bowl voting results. Injured reserve players Andrew Meyer, Jason Sanders, and James Daniels are unlikely to return to practice or play this season.
