Description

Drake just lost his defamation case against Universal Music Group over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with a federal judge ruling the lyrics were protected opinion, not fact. Drake had claimed UMG wrongfully released and promoted the diss track, which accused him of being a pedophile — allegations he said were false and damaging. The court, however, determined that diss tracks aren’t taken literally by the public, and UMG celebrated the dismissal, calling the lawsuit “an affront to artistic expression.”

Hosts: Jason Beckerman & Derek Kaufman
