Jax is a truly incredible founder and leader, but more importantly one of the most genuine blokes I’ve ever sat down with. Jax joined the Marine’s out of school, but after taking a surveillance course to map out terrains for Marine exercises, he developed a passion for photography. Jax started using this new passion to take beautiful shots for local businesses, built up a bit of steam, and ended up selling that agency to Berkshire Hathaway aged only 25. Jax had realised that as a Marine, they could reach remote places and take beautiful brand images where your typical agency couldn’t. On these shoots, Jax had realised how BAD the advertising industry was for the planet. In fact, advertising emits 2X as much as Global Aviation…that’s mad!!! He decided to do something about it, and set up Nuevo…the world’s most purpose driven agency. Since, Nuevo has gone from height to height, and even won the investment of Stephen Bartlett’s Flight Story. After only 2 years, they have an incredible team of over 20 people.
