Michter's is known as the "world's most desired whiskey." So on this Black Friday edition of The Mash Up, we taste and review three different limited production whiskeys from the distillery: 10 year old bourbon & rye and barrel strength bourbon. Each year that these products release (because they don't always release annually), they are highly allocated and highly sought after. What starts off as an expose on Michter's, quickly turns to the usual fun and spirited conversation along with many random blinds. Faultline Bourbon is adorned with an iconic cracked sidewalk label. The original K&L Faultline Bourbon debuted in 2013 and was very well received. For this short, we dive into the latest release was distilled in 2006 and aged with meticulous attention for nineteen years. Distilled in Indiana, the bourbon that we taste in this episode is barrel number one of four. 19 year old MGP? Sounds too good to be true. Maybe it is. MAYBE! You'll have to listen to find out.
