Collegiate womens flag football is making history with the launch of the ECAC league, supported by the New York Jets and a one million dollar investment from the Betty Wold Johnson Foundation. The championship game will be held at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Facility and MetLife Stadium. The New York Jets have been expanding opportunities for young women in football for over a decade. Ten schools have committed to the inaugural season, with five more joining in two thousand twenty-seven. Players and coaches express excitement and historical significance. The funding will support essential needs and provide visibility and a direct connection to the NFL.
