He is leading the Wireless Cluster at IDLab/imec Antwerp, and he is the Program Director of the IoT Initiative (UAntwerp, Ghent University and Free University of Brussels).
Dr. Marquez-Barja was born and raised in Bolivia, but has lived, worked and studied in different places of the world.
He has been working in Bolivia, USA, Cuba, Spain and for the last few years in Belgium.
He has a lot of experience and he's been able to see at first hand many different cultures.
The main problem with researches these days? The amount of awareness about the different types of #research.
People are aware of companies that are using research, but not what's behind the finished product. This should change.
In todays episode we delve deeper into the #5G research as well as possible use cases in the future for this technology.
