Born with only seven fingers due to Thalidomide, Kimberly defied the odds to become a successful professional and public figure. However, her greatest trials came with the loss of her mother to suicide, her son Eric to suicide, and her husband to heart failure.

Through her grief, Kimberly found healing and purpose, establishing 65 Eric Harms Memorial Libraries in Rwanda and writing two impactful books to help others cope with grief and build meaningful legacies.
