Carlos Grangel is a Spanish character designer, storyboard artist, and illustrator known for his work in animation and feature films. He has collaborated with major studios like DreamWorks Animation and Warner Bros., contributing to projects such as Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, and Madagascar.

He runs Grangel Studio in Barcelona, where he and his team specialize in character design, visual development, and story concepts for both animation and live-action. One of his most celebrated contributions was designing characters for Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, which earned critical acclaim for its unique gothic aesthetic.

Grangel is widely respected in the industry for his distinctive style, blending expressive character design with strong storytelling instincts, making him a go-to artist for directors looking to bring animated worlds and characters to life.
