Zach Brown (@zacherybrown) is an LA based writer, director and actor. He is best known for his award-winning feature film, “Hard Surfaces”, which he wrote, directed and co-produced. After college, this Virginia Tech grad studied acting in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles in 2010 to further his career in the industry. Since then has written, produced and/or directed many feature and short films and started his own production company, Kumonryu Creative.



Zach’s feature film, “Hard Surfaces” has won an array of awards this year and last at film festivals such as WorldFest Houston, Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema (where Zach picked up Best Director-Feature) and the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles, where the film was awarded Best Screenplay. Through his production company, Kumonryu Creative, Zach also directed a lengthy short film titled “The Mountain Man” and has a lot of exciting projects in the works.

Zach also starred alongside our very own Steve Seidel in a digital series called, “Who’s Better @”, which funnily enough featured a former guest of ours, Jack Turner. We had Zach sit down with Murph and SC for the first ever full power HOUR here at 60ShotstoFame. This sausage fest gets a little tipsy as we dive into dating with chicken pox, meter maids, getting robbed and so much more!
