Description

He never thought he’d make it but he did. Start August right by listening to Mark Jamer, a YSEALI SEED Fellow from UPLB and an incoming Fulbright UGrad Scholar.

The YSEALI Fellows programs brings emerging leaders in these fields from Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam (ASEAN member countries) to the United States for an intensive four-week program designed to provide young leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills and broaden their professional expertise.

The UGrad program, on the other hand, provides one semester scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students from around the world for non-degree full-time study combined with community service, professional development, and cultural enrichment.

The episode is hosted by Leah Cioco.
