EP. 18 - STILL SMOKIN' (with guest Cheech Marin)
Description
In our latest episode of Cannthropology, host Bobby Black Zooms in with cannabis comedy legend Cheech Marin of Cheech & Chong fame to discuss his amazing career, his relationship with Tommy, his signature cannabis brands, and his feelings about dabbing, as well as the grand opening of his new Chicano art museum in California.
Richard “Cheech” Marin and Thomas Chong rose to stardom in the '70s and early ’80s with a string of gold and Grammy-winning comedy albums, followed by a series of films featuring laughable yet lovable exaggerations of stoner stereotypes. As a solo artist, Marin has appeared in dozens of films and television shows, as well as countless cameos and voiceover roles. Cheech is also an icon in the Mexican-American community—promoting the culture and amassing one of the world’s most impressive collections of Latino art.
The World of Cannabis Museum Project presents: Cannthropology—the potcast that explores the history of cannabis culture one artifact and interview at a time. Hosted by World of Cannabis executive director and marijuana media icon Bobby Black.
