Sometimes I put my noise cancelling headphones on and clean the kitchen. And often times my kids will be yelling for me from another room (probably to wipe a butt or to say "watch this mom" as they do the same flip I have seen 829423094 times) And I can't hear them call out for me, not because I am ignoring them but because I am busy working being the scenes.
Sometimes, through out difficult seasons of life we feel like God could be ignoring us. I know I have had seasons when when he went quiet. And I kept calling out and calling out and heard nothing in return. And on the flip side, there been seasons of my life when I felt as if God was calling me into different places and I didn't pick up the call because I thought I had it all under control...until I didn't.
In this episode I share a recent story that happened in our house and how it relates to all of this! I am praying this hits someones heart today!
