1. Know your values - they are your guide.
2. Your people are everything, so Get to know your people and get to know them on THEIR TERMS!
3. Build Trust and don't assume that they trust you - earn it where and when you can. Ask them, what it takes to earn their trust, even if it seems weird.
4. As much as you want accountability from your team, you must demonstrate that accountability first.
5. Leaders need motivation just as much as the staff do, so by being engaged and in it, you're motivating your leaders.
