EP17. Hánlù
Description
Hello everyone, welcome to『千里之外』(qiān lǐ zhī waì)!
A Thousand Miles aims to teach Chinese idioms with historical background, fun facts, and engaging stories with culture perspectives for Chinese language learners or anyone who is interested in Chinese culture. We will start from the very beginning of ancient China, all the way until the modern era.
The seventeenth solar term we’re introducing is Cold Dew. It falls either on October 7th, 8th, or 9th each year. Earlier, we talked about White Dew, and now with Cold Dew, you can tell just from the names that the temperatures are continuing to drop as we move deeper into autumn.
