In this week's powerful episode, I'm joined by Holistic Dance Therapist, Carmel Bondswell.

Carmel is a dance and well-being coach, teacher and choreographer from the UK, who believes in the transformative power of movement.  Dancing since the age of 3, she found dance as her form of escapism from a traumatic home life. She worked hard to pursue it into a successful career, working with international artists and brands such as Adidas, Vogue Arabia, Britain's Got Talent, and the Mobo Awards Show, also choreographing a show for Dubai Expo 2020 & Journey of The Thread (a contemporary cultural Arabic performance).

Carmel continued into teaching dance and began using movement as a form of therapy during her self development journey. Her passion for mindful movement and self- development led her to create 'Home Sweet Dance', an umbrella of group dance classes, holistic coaching, talks, workshops, and masterclasses.

Her holistic teaching approach emphasizes that cultivating a mindful way of life is just as important as mastering the practice. Home Sweet Dance creates a safe and inclusive space for her students, where they can feel no judgment and are free to express themselves fully.

Carmel & I connected at Jay Shetty's 'Love Rules World Tour' in Dubai recently. Call it luck, fate or the forces of the Universe at play, Carmel ended up onstage with Jay Shetty himself, and what followed became one of the turning points in her life. Want to know more?
