On this episode of Experts on Expert, Dr. Drew discusses balancing ambition and family, how gut instinct is linked to the brain, and his reasoning for advocating the 12 step program. The two talk about monogamy and sex addiction, they list the myriad effects of suboxone and they chat about our ego's inability to separate self and family. In regards to the Monday Night Football theme song reference, the Onion has a great headline from years ago, "Hank Williams Jr honored by the Institute for Football Preparadness."

I love how DAX in every episode tries to have his own personal character defects justified by attempting to have his guests admit to personal experiences that match his own.. I get what hes doing and why, but not everyone is gonna have the same journey and faults as the next..my opinion to dax would be to use ur experiences to direct ur questions but lay off the stories that you Hope will get the guest to admit to shit that didnt happen to them..Dr. drew just wasnt havin it lol.

This episode with Dr. Drew was fascinating! I truly enjoyed the banter between these guys. The theories shared in this discussion were enlightening and I hope to find more information about them! Thanks for sharing this with the world, Dax Shepard!

Really enjoyed this podcast! I've always liked listening to Dr. Drew. His fears about the problems facing the next generation are so well founded. As someone dealing with arthritis and DDD, nerve problems, etc. in my early thirties, my treatment options are constantly being limited. I'm always told, this would be a treatment for you, but it's not covered.
