Elizabeth Gilbert: The Curiosity-Driven Life
Update: 2019-04-2483
Description
New York Times best-selling author Elizabeth Gilbert is known for following her passion, but says she no longer advises others to do the same. Instead, Elizabeth makes the case to follow your curiosity. Elizabeth says she believes the word "passion" can trigger feelings of stress and pressure, and doesn't even know if she believes in following it anymore. “At some point in your life, you were told, ‘Chase your passion,’” she says. “Not everyone knows how to answer that command.”

I have a really hard time with this one because my thesis is follow what sets your soul on fire and for years I thought I didn't know what it was but the truth is I did but I had buried it down so far I couldn't access it consciously. I will be thinking about this for a long time I think so that's the real purpose of these talks isn't it? but i suppose the same advice can't work for everyone . this gave me a lot to think about. much love to anyone reading this ramble!
