Ep 013 | Farm Living and Lessons on Love and Yoga with Nathalie Masse
Description
In this episode of the Culinary Chronicles Podcast, Lisa talks with Nathalie Masse. Nathalie is a former communications pro turned yoga teacher, and integrative wellness coach. She traded her stilettos for still-toe boots when she left the city with her husband and three daughters almost 10 years ago. Life on the country side at Buttonwood Farm has provided a fantastic playground for this life-long learner with boundless energy and curiosity. She studied beekeeping at Rutgers and clinical herbalism with David Winston. Nathalie raises hens and grows medicinal plants and vegetables. When she is not spending her days working outside with her English Shepherd, Sunny, she likes to volunteer and support various causes, including childhood cancer through Alex Lemonade.
In our conversation, Lisa and Nathalie talk about;
- Nathalie’s experience with moving from a urban location to rural
- The 101 on beekeeping and raising hens
- Her experience with growing up in Quebec to now living in the US
- Her suggestions on places to check out if you are in the New York area
- What her go to meal is on a busy week night
and much more!
