Set in 1820, a band of wreckers, engineering ship wrecks to loot cargo and murder everyone on board, all hide out in Jamaica inn, led by its Innkeeper. A young woman from Ireland comes to visit her aunt, saves a gang member from hanging. Together, they seek help from Sir Pengallen, the local justice of the peace, but things are not what they seem.
