Description

Welcome to Whakarongo - the podcast representing the voices of thousands of tamariki and rangatahi in state care in Aotearoa.

Last year, we marched to parliament calling on the government to uphold six promises relating to our basic rights, and this year we’re talking to the young people affected by those promises being broken.

This episode is about Isabella Kenney - and the promise to be listened to.

We also talk to Niah Fotu, a member of the VOYCE Kaiwhakamana team about the mahi that she does, and how she advocates for the voices of young people in care.
