Welcome back listeners! On today's episode we will talk about Japan's jiko bukken or stigmatized properties/haunted houses. In Japan, these properties are taken very seriously and are very much avoided. By law, the agent or landlord must inform you if it is a jiko bukken before purchase/renting or face a null and void contract. Some landlords omit this piece of information - for good reason - while renters seem to never ask because of the steal they think they're getting. However, things really do "go bump in the night". Listen if you dare.
