Welcome to episode 11!
On this episode I’ll be recapping the latest UFC Fight Night card headlined by Cory Sandhagen and Marlon Moraes. However, the big story was not Sandhagen’s victory over Moraes, but Joaquin Buckley’s incredible KO over Kasanganay, who I repeatedly called “Kayongsong”. What an embarrassing blunder. My bad (shoutout to Mike Goldberg).
Also on the card, Edson Barboza picked up a victory over Makwan Amirkhani in routine fashion, but I discuss how deceiving his recent UFC record has been. Furthermore, Tom Aspinall continues his ascent up the UFC heavyweight hierarchy with a win against Alan Baudot. Finally, I discuss the first MMA show in history to occur in France! (it’s more of a Bellator rant though, sadly).
