Ep. 181 True Crime: The Heist of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
We are still on a break from the Bachelor but connecting our stories to the franchise. We are already looking forward to Bachelor in Paradise this season, and Megan bases her story this week on someone we are very likely to see on the sand, Genevieve Parisi. Genevieve is from Massachusetts, now living in Southern California.
The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, in Boston, Massachusetts, is the home of the vast personal art collection of Isabella Stewart Gardner. Over St. Patrick’s Day weekend of 1990, thirteen pieces of art were stolen and this heist was the highest value museum heist for 29 years. Of course, our thoughts and prayers are with the affected families, but something more must be done. We urge you to reach out to your Senators and Representatives and urge action. Sharon McMahon has some great tools on how to do that, check her out on Instagram.
