In this weeks episode of The Late Night Lockdown Podcast, our Hosts, Matthew and Amiee, openly discuss their non-so festive 4th of July celebration this year (it's just too hypocritical for calling America the "Land of the Free" when so many people's human rights are being taken away. Ya know, the Facts.) , their (ironic) Texas trip to Corpus Christi for a weekend where they experienced an all natural, salt water bath jacuzzi in the Gulf of Mexico - all thanks to wonderful Climate Change; the obsessiveness of Guns and Religion culture (especially when they are viewed as one thing), and The Alamo museum history and experience walking the historical grounds. By talking about the true, past history of our country, we need to always learn about it so we never go back, know that Violence never solves anything and that Mental Healthcare is a Human Right and absolutely needed for every single person in our society, especially now more than ever.
They also cover the Affirmative Action ruling by the Supreme Court this last month and the racism that continues to plague society.
