For Episode 3, we discuss the differences of purity culture that exist between the UK evangelicals and the US. More importantly how that worldview affected her previous marriage, and growing up in a church so focused on Purity that it harmed the way she viewed relationships and even herself.

 In addition to being stunning and kind, she has also done the work to break free of that shame and has risen to a place where not only can she put herself first, but in doing so she now has healthy boundaries and loving relationships through deconstructing. It is MY personal opinion that EVERYONE in America has Religious Trauma. Even if you weren't raised Christian, or even if you were NOT religious. Because of Christian supremacy, and the way it infiltrates the media, politics, purity culture, and just the social norm zeitgeist; everyone. EVERYONE has been affected.

So let's undo that trauma. Or should I say, join me in...UNTRACING TRAUMA ;)
