Description

Gina Marken / Sound Benefit Administration

Meeting the needs of customers is the driving force behind Gina Marken, owner of Sound Benefit Administration (SBA). Having worked for an insurance broker and as a former bookkeeper, in 2003, Gina saw a need for consumer directed healthcare plan administration to assist companies in managing federally regulated plans and founded SBA. SBA started with FSAs and HRAs and today has expanded to be a true “alphabet soup” expert, offering administrative services for COBRA, FSAs, HRAs, QSEHRAs and HSAs.

Gina is respected throughout the industry as a resource for brokers, employers and participants. She takes particular pride in providing thoroughly researched and accurate answers. A native of Salem, Oregon, Gina also spent a number of years in Alaska. Today, she resides, with her husband, in Poulsbo – also home to SBA’s headquarters. Gina is a Toastmaster and volunteers weekly at the Washington Correctional Center for Women assisting female inmates with public speaking and leadership skills.
