As you can hopefully tell by the title of this episode, this chaotic trio is shamelessly talking about periods! So if you’re not a bestie that wants to hear non-professional, professional uterus owners talk about their experiences with period based diseases, birth control, and the weird unnecessary shame that surrounds something half of the world's population has or does experience naturally!

This weeks episode is brought to you by the letter P! Kali starts off the group topic by talking about endometriosis and her own experience with it. The struggles of getting it diagnosed and how common it is among the owners of uteruses. Dev takes us to talking about PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome) and her own experiences with having it. She also gives us some insight on something she’s just finding out about called PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) and how she relates to the symptoms of this and how underdiagnosed these illnesses are. Jade finishes us off with talking to us about birth control. Birth control is such a HUGE part of periods, and it’s very important to know what your options are, the effectiveness, and side effects. We also discuss our own experiences with birth control. In no way is this to discourage you from any of them or to say that our experiences will be your experiences. It’s always important to find a doctor that you feel comfortable talking about these things with!
