Listen, there’s no class at college on how to be a CEO. No great online class you can take. No awesome podcast.
So much of this is on-the-job learning. Yes, there are fundamentals of business (which we use as a foundation inside of Kickass Masterminds), but YOU as a human are unique. YOU as a CEO are unique. You need to find your own way to be the best CEO of your business.
How do you do that?
1. EMBODY IT. Step into this. Own it. Declare it.
2. YOU HAVE TO LEAD. You must realize that you are the one driving the bus. You’re charting the course. YOU and only you are the energy source for your business. Take the responsibility.
3. BUILD A TEAM. You can’t do it alone: you need a team to help. Which means you need to get smart about hiring, training, managing, growing, and even firing. You need support to do this, andmodel other people who have been there. You need to be shoulder-to-shoulder with others who are doing this as well.
