Vipul Mehta is a writer, producer, director on stage, films,TV, and OTT platforms. He started his career in 1986 with children plays, later moved on to intercollegiate plays and finally to professional theatre. 

He has to his credit more than 95 plays with 300+ shows. and the most prominent among them are Ame lai gaya tame rahi gaya, Jalsa karo Jayantilal, and Lali Leela.

On television, he is associated with the longest running shows of Ekta Kapoor like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Koshish, Muktibandh, Sambhav Asambhav.
He has made films in Gujarati like Carry on Kesar, Hindi film like Super Nani, and the latest that created history in Gujarati Film Industry and continues to run in theatres after 4 years and ₹60cr gross- Chaal Jeevi Laiye.

Vipul Mehta has worked with stalwarts be it Ekta Kapoor, Rekha, Padmarani Sarita Joshi, Jaya Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan.
