By her own admission, Mindy Friedman's coming out to her mum and dad was somewhat passive aggressive in nature.

Mindy expected her mum and dad to embrace her coming out with the same unconditional love she had become accustomed to all her life however this wasn't the case.

Mindy shares with us how they overcame the initial reaction and obstacles in order to have the beautiful and loving relationship they have today.
