Episode 104: They’re Squats Dammit! (Leagues of Votann)

Episode 104 and a special guest host – our son Lachlan… has dung himself out of a hole and joins me to talk Leagues of Votann aka the Squats! Thank You to Games Workshop for supplying us a copy of the new army box early for this episode!

The Leagues of Votann has been a polarising release for gamers with leaks a plenty, half truths and rules fragments. Well the other content creators showed us some issues and this is us making suggestions on how to fix them!

We cover the rough issues with points, some of the flaws with the rules and also highlight some of the narrative that seems to be blown out of proportion.

For the record – our suggestions outside of blanket points increases are as follows…

1 – Change Judgement tokens to only be gained 1 per enemy unit per battle round regardless of source.
2 – Change Void Armour to be reduce the ap of attacks by 1 if the ap is -2 or -1.
3 – Change Void Armour so that anything not in armour doesn’t get it! (remove from Berzerks, Pioneers, Grimnyr, Iron Smith)
4 – Change Void Armour to only preventing rerolls to damage (remove the wound limit)
5 – Change Magna Rail so that a max of 3 wounds can overflow regardless of how many are left over after a target is slain.

There – all fixed! Thank us later!
