Claire Mitchell (MRCSLT, BSc (Hons), MPhil, PhD), Research fellow for NIHR Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research, and Care (CLAHRC) Greater Manchester and Senior Clinical Lecturer has worked in England's National Health Service (NHS) for 20 years. Claire was awarded a National Institute for Health Research Fellowship in 2014 to undertake her PhD which was completed in 2017. This fellowship, ReaDySpeech for people with dysarthria after stroke: a feasibility study, was looking at the feasibility of using technology for speech rehabilitation for people with post-stroke dysarthria. In this episode, we hear more about her interesting work that holds promise for SLP dysarthria treatments!
