Today I will read the prologue to my novel Emma's Gift so that you can understand some of the background for not only my novel but for these Podcasts.  In future episodes I will also be interviewing people involved in animal rescue, to hear their stories and struggles.  Rescue is not for the faint of heart.  It takes time and money but more than that it takes a little piece of your soul with every animal.  Some they can save, others they cannot but what is important is that they are always there, always vigilant and brave enough to speak for those who have no voice.
