Are you a person who does NOT stutter? Well this episode is for you!

Kacie, a fellow a teen who stutters, and I have compiled a list of things NOT to do when interacting with someone who stutters. Even though people who don't stutter can benefit from all Stuttering Through Life episodes, this is the episode for you if you are not very familiar with stuttering. 

Especially if you don't know much about stuttering, it's easy and understandable to react to a person who stutters in a way that is well-intending, but is actually hurtful. This episode tells you exactly what to avoid and how to make you and the person you're talking to as comfortable as possible.

Marc Winski, @marcwinski (Instagram) - A talented actor, singer, and speaker who stutters! He makes funny and totally accurate videos about the life of a person who stutters and is amazing at raising awareness. 

Instagram: @juststutter - A simple but poignant comic page about stuttering. Many will be able to relate and these comics have really uplifted me many times when I was feeling down about my stutter. 

Caitlyn Cohen, @caitlyn.cohen (TikTok and Instagram) - Mostly on her TikTok account, Caitlyn shares her experiences as a person who stutters, and she also replies to questions her followers have! As shown in one of her Instagram TV's (IGTV), she was featured on Disney Channel and gave an informational and inspirational interview. How wonderful to see people like Caitlyn helping to raise a new generation of children who knows about stuttering!
