Now 10 years disease-free, Diana suffered a lifetime of slow progressive symptoms, Diana was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease 37 years after her only known tick bite. Subsequently, her 3 children also had Lyme disease which was believed to have been transmitted in utero. Her husband was also infected, which was believed to have been sexually transmitted.
