Description
Robert Egelstaff was one of four adventurers who followed in the footsteps of polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. Egelstaff and his crew used an open boat to trace his journey from Elephant Island to South Georgia in the Antarctic summer of 1993-1994. I met Rob on an expedition to Antarctica in December 2023. Just like everyone else I meet, Rob has a story about Alzheimer’s and a loved one.
