Hey, everyone!
Police detective Joe Friday was a stickler for the rules, a real square. Detective Pep Streebeck, was a rogue in a wrinkled shirt who drove too fast. Neither Joe nor Pep could see a world where they could possibly work together; but work together they must, for Pep was Joe’s new partner, and they had a case to solve…a case involving a crooked reverend, a goat-leggings-wearing cult, and the Virgin Connie Swale.
When things go south and Joe is unfairly relieved of his badge, it’s up to Pep to take what he’s learned from the straight-laced man he’s grown so fond of and solve the case — for both of them.
Can these two detectives get their happily ever after? Or will they be eaten by a giant snake?
Academy Award Nominee Dan Aykroyd and Academy Award Winner Tom Hanks star in this buddy-cop comedy that is basically a romcom, and we’re here to explain that statement.
