Episode #14: Trusting God through Life’s Transitions
Description
Today we will look at the life and personal testimony of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12. The phrase, “When I am weak, then I am strong,” teaches us that there are times when God may answer a prayer with a “no.” This truth can be challenging to accept. Even on a human level, if an individual has difficulty saying “no,” it can be considered a fault. Some things should be said “no” to. God is not a “yes man,” and the purpose of prayer isn’t to obtain our desires so much as to align ourselves with God’s will. Paul grasped this invaluable lesson: God’s grace is sufficient for us in our weakness, and through that weakness we are made strong. We will be blessed if we recognize that we have no real power in ourselves as we go through transitions—except for Christ in us. Christ provides the strength for us to withstand whatever challenges lie before us.
