In this episode we hear the story of the great man behind the iconic Big Ed Burgers! Not only did “Big Ed”, also known as Ed Thompson,  cook burgers and serve them with love, he also left behind a legacy of serving his family as a faithful husband and devoted father.

As a young father who was the first generation American of Lebanese descent, Ed was struggling to find enough work to provide for his family. In a moment of despair, he thought it might be better to end his life and provide insurance money for his wife. Instead of giving up, he cried out to the Lord for help, and almost immediately received a phone call that would change his life.

It was a joy to visit with Ed’s daughter, Danielle Smith, as she shared with us about her father, his faith and the difference one man can make by honoring God in all things.
