Description

Welcome to Part 2 of our discussion with Professor André Bussières from Chiropractic Department at l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and Adjunct Professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University who has led the Canadian Chiropractic Guideline Initiative and has been involved in the development of evidence-based diagnostic imaging practice guidelines for musculoskeletal complaints for chiropractors. He is joined by Dr Kenneth Young who is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (DACBR) and a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging at Murdoch University. He was recently awarded his PhD with the thesis title being Divergent Beam: A History of the Use of X-Rays in Chiropractic. Join our hosts Professors Stephen Perle and Dave Newell where we continue the discussion regarding role imaging, and especially plain-film x-ray use by chiropractors in light of the Choosing Wisely campaign that has been rolled across the world.
