Description

Ezra McCandless wove a web of complicated relationships for herself, getting involved romantically with many of the men in her coffee-shop clique in a hipster Wisconsin college town. Things were going well for her until they weren’t, and one person in the exclusive friend group ended up dead.

Imagine having such a simple, sad, and boring sex life that you find 'prone bone' scandalous.

She sounds like someone who was emotionally abused and manipulated. I've looked back in horror at messages when I was being manipulated by an ex and felt like I was just not me.

It's interesting to hear how she describes what happened... "all I can feel is anxiety" πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ "It kinda felt like I just woke up" πŸ€” "it's kinda the feeling you don't know what is happening" πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ ~ Sweetie... You either did or you didn't. You ain't describing a dream πŸ˜‚ Instead of relaying events she trying too hard to control the narrative by setting a scene (without actually saying anything). This kind of behaviour definitely sets off alarm bells πŸ›Ž An '"interesting"' character if ever there was one πŸ™„ her and Jodi Arias would get on great πŸ˜‚

What a condescending fucking douche. Here's some food for thought: maybe, just maybe consider not alienating your target audience? This is literally my first episode. Made it less than half way before I ubsubbed. Congrats, douchebro.

everybody is bitching about his commentary.... it's like they've never listened to a true crime podcast... they ALL do the same thing!!! SFTC... STM... MFM... Serial... Last on the Left... EVERYONE OF THEM does the exact same thing. so what is it? Are you triggered by his takes on transgender/bisexual lifestyles? Or is it because he calls Ezra out for being the whore who cried rape everytime she has regrets after she fucks somebody? Or is the term "hipster" hitting a little too close to home? Or is it just Mike and y'all are still butthurt he still has the show? Or is it simply because you have a differing opinion than he does?

I don't mind Mike's comments a lot of the times. When he says stuff like "Poor little Ezra, always being victimized." That's the type of shit I'm always thinking about these people on these podcasts.

she's guilty as sin. she deserves to rot in prison. Mike is a great narrator and calls things out as they are. anyone offended is a little to thin skinned if you ask me.

Here's a comment from a normal listener and a normal dude, here's a few of Mike's opinions people are probably complaining about. Opinions on gender fluidity in young people and how it seems more young people are hopping on board with this groups. This is accurate. Opinions on hipster culture and their psuedo intelligent minds and ways of speaking, writing and their thoughts. This is accurate. Opinions on young people and more frequently cheating, referencing 2020. Almost going into the realm of polyamorous relationships. This is accurate. Opinions on sexuality with a disclosure for not kink shaming. This is having to become more common and is accurate. In conclusion, the episode was great, this community is being overrun by perpetual bitchers and moaners. The only thing that should be offensive is how long the Best Fiends advertisement lasts.
