In this episode I begin discussing the need for forgiveness in healing from Church Hurt.  I discuss discuss misunderstandings about forgiveness and clear up what it is not - such as forgiveness is not about being weak or losing but actually requires strength.  Forgiveness also does not mean that we just forget what happened, or that we must restore the relationship or that we should expect an apology.  Forgiveness is not always easy but it is a necessary step towards really being healed.
