Description

On January 8th, 2007, the home of Liz Collier-Sweet was set ablaze by an unknown firebug. Little did the investigators know, finding the arsonist would be the least of law enforcement’s worries. When Liz failed to return home after the fire, Law enforcement followed a trail of bread crumbs she had left behind, which led to the capture of a lifelong pedophile and murderer. However, as one homicide investigation was closed, another was opened.

what is going on here? when I listen to crime podcasts, I want woke, entitled white men or woman to complain about rascism. last thing I need to hear is any opinion different than what I'm told I believe.

The only thing I wish he'd do is learn how to pronounce "forward" and "Lawyer". Other than that, great stuff.

If I wanted bullshit political commentary, I'd turn on Fox news. Plenty of other "true crime" shows to listen to. Fuck this asshole.

The true crime aspect is great! He does have a habit of lumping all progressives in one camp and let's his negative opinion of liberals be known. If you're overly sensitive to that unsubscribe and listen to one of the other true crime podcasts (crime junkie is a good one). I like the story telling and the dubstep so I personally just ignore it.

We don't live in a perfect world. We live in a world where highly paid professionals don't do their damn jobs. We live in a world of misplaced compassion for violent guys who rape and murder. I sometimes do not agree with the commentary of the narrator, but my God yes. People do "good behavior" in prison because there are no women and children to rape and murder. Even "progressive" people should prioritize the victims of violent crimes, and the families of victims of violent crimes, FAR ABOVE the perpetrators.

God, Mike ruins every episode with his annoying opinions. Why does he feel the need to throw out the words like liberal, snowflake etc, EVERY episode. His attempts to tie the episode's story with his own political viewpoints are so weak and unnecessary. At this point, he just likes the feeling of riling people up as if he is superior. 🙄

I love the story telling of Sword and Scale but wish that Mike would stick to the story and keep his views to himself. He has a great way for making you regret listening to him. #justkeeptothestory #letthevictimspeak #learnwhentobequiet

What's with all the politics on a true crime podcast. Stick to what you're good at.
