Alex Papparotto Goodman finally let himself be outnumbered. I told him more times than I can count NOT to let the ankle-biters overtake you & the missus, but did he listen? Noooooooo! This is why when he came to my home at 11 o'clock this morning buzzed out on hydrocodone & babbling incoherently, I brought him inside to offer him a nice plate of toast & a big steaming cup of I-told-you-so. During our impromptu brunch, we finally had a chance away from the kids to talk about the straight to TV event serving as the final nail in the coffin as Disney tightened its deathgrip once & for all- The Muppets' Wizard of Oz. Click those heels together & reload your candy phone cuz Aunt Em's Diner ain't where it's at, and this would-be diva has dreams to chase! Steve Whitmire's still here (tho who can say why?), Piggy plays 4 roles, Jeffrey Tambor came back from space, Gonzo actually makes some good points, and Johnny Fiama is the best! If you ever wondered when the Muppets started making horny jokes- it was right about here. We wish there was more Rizzo, but what else is new?
