While there are times our kids' interests align with our own, there are also times when what our children are interested in is not something we've ever even thought much about. Today's episode will likely have you laughing out loud as The Gurus recount a recent excursion they went on with their son as they attempted to engage with him in one of his developing interests. It was one of those times when the interest of the child had not ever been an interest of the parent! But the point is the child's interest was reasonable and attainable. So The Gurus engaged. And that's what this whole episode is about. Engaging with our children in their interests and guiding them through learning how to manage them.
