Description

The Tara Calico case is one that will have your mind going for days. This is a very prominent case in the true crime world, and for good reason: it’s still unsolved after 33 years. Tara Calico was 19 when she went missing after heading out on a routine bike ride. For years no one was entirely sure what to make of the case, especially when a polaroid showed up and the woman in the photo bore a striking resemblance to Tara. However, as this case unfolds, small town secrets start to surface and many are convinced the answer has been around for years but covered up by the very people claiming to want justice.

Oh wow. This was my 1st episode and I was impressed. Note, I'm a middle aged man from Western Kentucky so take it for what it's worth, but I'm gonna listen to another.

Ash, please...Unorthodox Life is really slanted and full of inaccuracies. Don't believe everything you see.

1. The polaroid is bullshit! It seems crazy to me that any serious investigation didn't immediately spot all the obvious problems with it. 2. This is a very small town... yet somehow, multiple witnesses saw a "suspicious" vehicle stalking the victim??? Small town people know the cars around them and who owns them! If it was so suspicious and nobody reported it? A STRANGE CAR??? Sorry, this was still the 80s and in a small town, this isn't immediate news? Even before she was officially missing it would have been gossiped. No matter what happened, it seems pretty obvious that local law enforcement screwed up the investigation and/or were involved in a coverup. It does make sense that "everyone knows". They may still be wrong, if people are so sure, then why not come forward? Maybe they're just full of it...
