What we mean by that is getting so in tune with your audience that they feel like you’re speaking directly to them.



  1. Speaking their language. Use the words that they use, not industry jargon.


  2. Understand their challenge. Put yourself in their shoes. Don’t sell your product or service, share the solution to their problem.


  3. Be where they are. There’s a TOXIC trend right now that says “x for everyone”. But there are certain businesses where certain strategies don’t apply.
